Netizens doing their job again, a picture of Sunmi has been found posing with 2PM members like Taecyeon, Junho, Wooyoung, and Changsung, there’s also 2AM’s Seulong there as well, along with the JYPE dance team.

She’s been spotted to be going in and out of JYPE’s offices, practising as a trainee, so it is believed that she will return to the music industry.

ARTIST: 2AM
ALBUM: F.Scott Fitzgerald's Way Of Love
TRACK: Wonder If You Hurt Like Me
PLAYS: 74

Yay~ 2AM finally had a comeback! So, I’ll be reviewing their title track “Wonder if You Hurt Like Me (너도 나처럼)”.

I was so excited for this album when I heard 2AM was having a comeback, it’s been a year and their songs never fail to impress me! So, this song, is a ballad, just like most of 2AM’s songs, because well they’re a ballad group.

I really love the opening, the cello and the piano melody, very lovely. Then with Seulong’s and Jinwoon’s soft voices, no heavy background music, just the cello, piano and their pure voices. Very pleasant for the ears, then it breaks into this hypnotic humming, and the beat comes on and I’m like, “Oh shit this song is great!”

Now Jo Kwon and Changmin take the chorus of the song, Jo Kwon has the soft but very powerful voice, you can feel the sadness from his voice. Changmin with his very, very, very, manly voice, another nice touch song. Now I did feel that this song is kinda short, like I was so into it that it was over in a flash. But it is a ballad songs, and since ballads are slow tempo and all you don’t get a lot of lines into the song.

This is indeed a sad song, as seen in the lines of the song and the MV. It’s about breaking up, or losing someone, your boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband/partner, etc. This song really touches the heart, even if you don’t understand Korean, you can get the feel of this song right away, you know it’s a sad song, without a doubt.

The MV, hrm. . The MV only showcases Jinwoon, because well, he’s the only one in group that’s acting in the MV. He’s the main focus of this MV, along with lady friend. Now this MV has an actual plot, thank God for that. I’ll explain to you the plot of this MV.

So, if you watched the Prequel for this MV, you’ll get the whole plot, if you haven’t go watch it. Now, in the Prequel, Jinwoon goes to this shop with this mysterious old guy, now the shop sign essentially says “If you bring an object with a memory attached to it, we’ll erase the memory for you.”, pretty fancy shop eh? Now Jinwoon goes into the shop bringing his object which is a small crystal piano that is also a music box.

And he says:

“I couldn’t sleep, I thought this would be okay after a day.” and goes on ranting “I thought I would forget (her) in a month. Two months, a year, no matter how much time passes I can’t forget her. I’m going crazy! This is giving me a hard time, whenever I close my eyes I think about her, I want to forget her. Do you think she’s having a hard time like I am?”

After this, the ending of this video, you hear Jo Kwon and Changmin singing the chorus of the song. So basically Jinwoon wants to erase the memories of his ex, and that’s what happens in the MV, you see all the photos, letters, and her being erased. Although I didn’t get the part where Jinwoon got erased though, kinda weird.

Now there was another video they released, called “Her Story”, basically it’s an interview of several women and how the felt and dealt about their breakups, I’m not going to go into that because, well I’m too lazy.

Overall this song is great, the MV is great, everything is great! Their album I’ve heard some parts of their other songs, it’s very good. 2AM never fails to impress me, and I’m pretty sure they’ll impress you too!
